The title says it all. I've collected various shards since I started playing and they have a tooltip telling that they are used in various levels of crafting. But the Jade Gemstone only describes itself as a perfect jade gemstone or some such. Is there a use for these or are they just good for the money from a vendor. Thanks.

Stat issue
I am assuming this is a bug? :P Completely without gear/traits/etc., my level 57 lm appears to have over 500 will. With all my gear, 1.1k, but before the update, I had about half that. Not entirely sure how this has happened, unless I am missing something drastic. I do not think this has happened to any other characters.

Went on Bullroarer this morning. Yup. No Change to DPS output or mob difficulty.
I doubt there will be anyone left playing by the time they make the adjustments. I know I won't be playing until it changes to at least a level where I have to press more than 3 buttons to kill things. (In the case of Loremasters - one button - send pet to attack)
A Dev DID confirm that they DO plan to make DPS adjustments eventually -- I fear it will be too little and much too late.
Dev comments: "The biggest thing to take into account with all of this, is that there is still a good deal of balancing to be done. You can expect adjustments to mob difficulty, damage and healing output, and stat caps to account for all of the changes, both itemization-related and not. As it stands, yes, many classes have little use for defensive stats, and many people are sitting on or near a number of stat caps. This will change, however, and my intent is to have you be at a point where you will need to make conscious decisions on what you wear in order to progress through some of the harder challenges in the game. "

So how come the price hike for mithril point travel in HD???
I buy mithril coins on a regular basis and LOVE the idea of completing quests by quickly recalling to the npc location via spending a mithril coin..... The fact that mithril is fairly expensive and uses up my monthly free Turbine point allotmanet has always been worth it to me.
But since buying Helm's Deep, I notice that recalling anywhere in Eastfold or (I'm assuming) Westfold- costs 5 COINS.... That is a 500% increase.... Woof!!! You guys need to make money but this is ridiculous

Truth
Warning: This post has absolutely no meaning or purpose. It's just there.
The truth is, I am tired of Turbine purposely releasing a broken product, then have them come up with all these wonderful fixes that should have been there in the first place, which take MONTHS! (Should take a week).
Overal, It buys them a lot of time and excuse not to do anything, as they are "busy" with content fixes. Honestly, this lazy and unprofessional strategy is just over the top for me. I would be embarrassed releasing something like this into the digital world. Well, i guess, broke 'n fix masters of the genre shall come on top again!
I like this game, but the days for it a numbered for me. There is absolutely nothing to do, BUT GRIND!! After you're finished with the grind, you looks for more grind, because that's how the game has developed over the past years, trapping you into a carrot stick cycle to support the STORE.
AND this is not an MMO anymore, this is Lord of the Store online, with every server but Brandywine in the US being a ghost-town.
Turbine, you did it to yourself. Enjoy.
p.s. All these people are talking about NICE SCENERY OF HD, while the content is just beyond CHEAP and boring! If you want nice scenery, GO OUTSIDE! Raids, rewards, challenges should be the aim IMO. It seems like RP people have taken over these lands patting each other on the back, trying to justify their dollars!

Breadcrumb quest leading to West Rohan?
Is there a quest leading me into West Rohan for the first time? I'm just leveling out of East Rohan. Hitting 87 and just starting in Snowbourne and Hytbold. I'd like to move to the new region, but I prefer to start a new area with the lead-in quest, rather than just hopping on my Frosty Yule Horse (yay! Yule Festival is almost here) and just heading west and hitting up the first quest giver I stumble upon. Or if there is no breadcrumb quest line leading me there, which is the "beginning" town? Eastfold? Broadacres?

<Salesman dislocates the steed's jaw on accident>

<Salesman starts patting the steed>
Horse Salesman: No, <Shoe falls off.> no (pause). <Looks down> Oh it's a good safe shoe, isn't it? <Looks to Mr. Silvertongue> You're not using it right. Take a look in the manual, you shouldn't have any more trouble. <Starts walking away> Nice to see you Mr. Silvertongue.

Need help with skill trees for a good champ buiild that can solo School at lvl95 without any problems.
All my skills are all spent in the AOE (yellow skill tree), which should be the choice anyway. Though I did notice when I tried to solo school, I could take care of the Signatures and other normals, but once I got to the first elite master with the two Uruk Hai at his side, I was having problems. He was stunning me and with no points spent in the blue line, I didn't have sudden defence or dire need for my surviabillity. A kin mate told me I could solo this if spent the points right. I have a total of 55 points spent in the yellow skill tree. How can I balance the points in both yellow and blue to have a decent champ build and survive?
I miss my Dire need and Sudden Defence skills. :( Do I have enough points?

Hunter issues - For Sapience or any developer
It's like 2 months and since the early stages of beta's that we are reporting certain hunter bugs, we never got a reply on this.
As someone asked, i will repost the topic here so everyone can join the feedback and hopefully Turbine will answer here and at least take a look at these horrible bugs/issues with a class that has been always weakened last years. Now, it looks decent but without these small fixes in PvMP we are walking meat.

Quick updated list of hunter issues or fix that players has been asking:
- Stealth tracking included in Passage of Nature/Foes.
- Cry of the hunter animation way too long and doesnt get out of CC's immediately.
- Cry of the hunter does NOT remove slows , fix it please.
- Cry of the hunter morale did NOT get scaled, 1,770 at level 95 is nothing considering the animation.
- Rain of arrows with oils doesnt reset on crit.
And to adapt with latest changes and cd reductions:
- Give Cry of the hunter a 5/10s slow immunity. We are probably the onliest class that if it's slowed is easily dead.

Is this game supported?
Hi all,
So a few days ago the game stopped working and I can't seem to figure out why. I submitted a topic in the support section and have provided as much information as I know how. I've tried rebooting, reinstalling, different networks... All with no success.
I also submitted a ticket with this information. I haven't heard back or received any suggestions on what to try next.
I am wondering if anyone in this forum can suggest some next steps. I'm a bit surprised that no contact has been made by Support, but I am sure they are busy.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I want to escape to Middle Earth when I get home from a long day! :)

Mob evade/parry in instances
Hey,
I'm a new player and I've been trying to figure out the finesse stat. I read a lot of related threads on this forum so I think I have a pretty good understanding on how finesse works at this point. What i don't know is the most important thing - what are evade, parry, block, resistance %s of the mobs in instances and skirmishes? Normal mobs, bosses. Is there any available info about that, either official or from player testing? Any info would be very helpful, thanks.

Where are my 'tough choices'?
One of the reasons for the class revamps was to provide so called tough choices with regard to our characters. Since HD however I have been able to ROFLSTOMP all content however I trait. In fact I tried to trait as badly as possible but was still able to face roll wargs pens solo using just auto-attacks. Tough choices LMAO!

f2p and quest packs
Looked for this in the forums and did not see so I am hoping I am not in error putting it here.I have recently started playing again, went from vip to f2p(premium).Went with my 35 Hunter back to Evendium to find I need to purchase the quest packs to continue.My question is once I purchase the quest pack on one alt, will all others have access to that zone or do I have to go through that with everyone of them?

Crit Armour for Heavies
So what gives? is it just Snowie or every other server, the AH is awash with will/crit jewellry and armour (******/penetration) but the might/crit stuff (valourous/penetration) never see it in the AH and never ever see a piece drop from an instance?

6 years gone by...
I have been playing lotro for 6 years, when I first started playing it tested your mind, you had to think about the quests, there was no quest guide. As much as the quest guide has helped in many difficult situations, I feel I tend not to read the quest any longer and just click accept and head in the direction of the guide.
I also enjoyed how fresh the game was, how beautiful the landscapes were, I personally feel the further you go into the game there is a lack of beauty and detail now, I know the further you go the darker the story gets but for me the detail also seems to be greatly reduced.
There are certain small things that I have always felt was completely wrong with the game such as the physics..i.e. you could fight a fire grim in moria with fire and it damages it, you fall from a great height and break a leg, get on your horse and the horse has a broken leg too :\. One of the changes I do like about the physics is that you can now be knocked off your horse and you go rolling on the ground for a bit, the disappointment is that you don't appear to get any scrapes or cuts or damage from this.
When you used to die you had dread that lasted around 10 minutes removing both vast amounts of health and power and now ? well, you can just retreat and delve back in like nothing ever happened. My major enjoyment of this game has always been the crafting, I've enjoyed the crafting and making things when I want a break from doing quests, now, there just isn't any need to do crafting because no one wants to make the time to do it, the AH whenever I go always seems to be eerily quiet and the store seems to be the biggest issue for this.
People can now go onto the store and buy almost everything they need without taken any time out to craft making the crafting almost non-existent. As for mithril coins, as much as I like them I don't like how they are being used, they just seem to be absolutely everywhere, You can jump quest to quest without the use of a horse or seeing the beauty of the landscape, you just about can't get a swift travel horse now without the use of a mithril coin and to repair, rather than making the trek away back to the nearest camp to find a healer or a provisioner, you can just click on a mithril coin.
I feel the game has lost a lot of it's imagination with the feel of less-detailed landscape and more thought into making money through the store, I would like to get the old lotro back as I enjoyed it more, I spent hours and days playing happily. sorry for my public winge I just had to get it out there, i'm sure there are more changes out there for the good and bad but those are my pet hates.
