Ok I just got to ask this. Just to clarify this so i don't end up wasting money. Does Buying the Helms Deep expansion give you access to previous expansion. Someone replied to my previous thread and that is what I got from the last sentence they put down to conclude their paragraph. Just a simple yea or nee would clarify it for me. Thanks.

Odd Accents
Sorry if this has come up before - I did a search but I don't see it.
I was wondering why so many of the NPCs in game have Australian accents? I'm in Dunland with my minstrel at the moment, and noticed it there, and I just made a new hobbit and made friends again with the Aussie hobbits in Michel Delving. (Apologies to the Australians out there, maybe it's a NZ accent - I can't claim to be an expert, I just know its not British :) ).

I found a fix/improvement to rubber banding issue!!
For I don't know how long, I had been dealing with rubber banding and lagging issues on my Alienware M17X. It wasn't always like that, but one day it just got to the point where I couldn't even play anymore. It was that bad. I tried everything I could think of. System restore, defrag, game booster, lowering graphics, shutting down tasks. I just couldn't figure it out. Then one day I figured I'd give it another shot. I reinstalled it, logged in, and crossed my fingers. FPS was running at 120 but I rubber banded like crazy. I was so frustrated, I told my kin that I wouldn't be back until I could afford a new desktop. Then one of my kinmates, Roshelle from Dawn Breakers on Vilya, shot me a message and started asking me questions about my issues. After awhile, we figured that the issue could be that my laptop could be bottlenecking. What bottlenecking means is if one component is weaker than another, lets say the graphics card is bottlenecking the CPU for gaming then the experience is hindered.The CPU can do its task, but the graphics card is so weak that it can't render the graphics. This is your common bottleneck. There is also hard drive bottlenecks, etc. Well there is a work around for bottlenecking, virtual memory. To enable virtual memory, do the following:
1) Right click on the Computer icon on your Desktop and select Properties.
2) In the System window click the Advanced system settings link in the left pane as highlighted below
3) In the System Properties window click the Settings… button under Performance section under Advanced tab
4) In the Performance Options dialog box select Advanced tab and then click Change… button under Virtual memory section
5) In the Virtual Memory dialog box thus opened, uncheck the Automatically manage paging file size for all drives option
6) Now select the disk partition for which you want to change virtual memory size and click on Custom size dot.
7) Here set the Initial size and Maximum size in MB in the text boxes provided as highlighted in the above figure. (I set my initial size at 9000MB and max at 11000MB)
8) Click OK button
9) You will be notified to restart your computer for the changes to take place. Click OK button.
Now that's not it! On top of that I also downloaded CCleaner and Advanced SystemCare 7. You can download CCleaner for free here http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner and Advanced SystemCare here http://advanced-systemcare.en.softonic.com/
Run both of those programs and use all the feature to clean and fix any errors on your computer and then use the boost on Advanced SystemCare. When using the boost Click on Turbo Boost on the main screen and then click on Configure. Make sure Game Mode is clicked and then hit next and choose to disable any programs that aren't needed.
After all of that is done, run your game and it should run MUCH MUCH better. I still rubber band in mounted combat a fair amount, but not NEARLY as bad. When I'm on foot though I have 0 rubberbanding! I hope this fixes many of your problems. Post your results below! Hope to hear that it helps the rest of you!!

why hd is being hated on.
First off, I want to say I really wanted to like this, but it just fails so fundamentaly as to be broken.
Numerous people, even after all this "give it a fair shot time, are complaining of boredom, simplicity, and for
many of us, it just isn't fun.
I know people are generally resistant to change, I liked my minis and hunters traits trimmed down, I was eager
to get out there and learn my characters rotations, new skills, and all the different nuiances of heals, and dps.
I thought Turbine would anticipate that in the quest lines, and in Bug Battles, where it seems you focus on
playing an engineer, vanguard, officer, game, instead of your class.
So on to the Quests!! ahhhh, ooooh, fully tree traited now. and tool bars set, can't wait to get to the action
methinks! Chores, Chores, snores, chores, and chores.
I used to bus tables in school long ago, I couldnt help to think if I had just come off a double shift of bussing tables.
And I got home all rdy to relax and have fun, only to spend hours more bussing tables, and serving food
Who decided this route was fun? sparsely used its amuseing, and silly. But to be the MAIN source of questing?
I just cant wrap my mind around this, considering I would like to
go try quests that have substance, meaning, and with some uniqueness dressing it up, and oh yah... to use the
skills, and trait trees for some action... but no... on to workquest... yep sooooo much fun.
There is a light at the end of the tunnel, however it is dark, dont go into the light! action finally, yes
action. (which is far out of balance with snores and chores quests)
I will finally get to learn my new rig. then sadly with nuking order on my minis mind, I unleash!..... uhhh dead?
Wait no way, 16k oneshot crit? Well I think, that has to be rare, next mob.. well you get the idea.
All of this is fostering the "you dont even have to know how to play crowd", because in Big Battles you're not
required, and in quests you just have to mash a button or three. if your gonna make us tanks thru the quests,
then bring the guns! not a fish in the barrel blow thru.
Pushing a calculator pad of buttons over, and over is not my idea of End Game fun. especially since I or no one
else really, I think has learned the potentials of their class, due to the limited content.
I think at Turbine, the game design teams, and lead, are having a real hard time distinguishing whats fun, and whats work, and the
quest lines illustrate very well this juxtapostion.
So, in summary this expansion is awful, and fundamentally broken. they gave us skills and godlike power, and
gave no content to use, or learn in. and half or more of the quests, involve snore, and boor quests. the first
half. when you are all hyped to go out and try out the new skills, then when you finally get to action, you find
out that your horribly overpowered.
The eye candy is ok, and even ispiring. however given enough time you will see that its mostly a retexture job
on old models, and even old architeture, ala imping lumberyard. However this is only cosmetically minor grieveance
I think most will agree it looks as good as HD should look.
The copy paste retextured landscape is the best part of the expansion.
The copy paste formletter style questing is the worst part of this expansion.
With big new titles coming out in the spring, I really do wonder if HD is, or is the beginning of Turbines
exit strategy.
I for one have learned a lesson, I will never prepurchase a turbine product ever again, I would not have
purchased this, but I have, and now I will do the very minumum to be prepared, in case Turbines next offering
is as good as its previous products.
I understand that Turbines put a new token in the store, that will let you skip all levels to 50, they need
another token, that lets you skip HD. and it should be FREE....

So , now that instance have became easier for a champion, is it possible to solo Barad Guldur at lvl 65 with..
A lvl 95 champion with the AOE yellow skill tree? I noticed that I can kill the elite masters in the Limlight Gorge now by myself. If I can do that, and BG is 10 lvls lower than that, I won't have any trouble, right? I just want to try for fun with the instance set to 65. I've soloed Carn Dum and Barad Guluran too. I just want to see how many instances that were impossible to do alone can be soloed with my godly champ.

Tough decision concerning mounts
As a big fan of the books and movies, I always felt like something was out of place while riding a horse or goat in Middle-Earth.
The journey to Mordor was made on foot. I decided to be true to the lore and delete all mounts.
Exploring the game now is more immersive and realistic. No more "fast travel" or going AFK while the horse auto-gallops to the next town.

Hytbold housing decorations
Was wondering when and if these will ever be fixed? Keep seeing the credenza', bookshelves and casks listed under wall decorations but only being able to be used as large furniture. It's unfortunate since these items are very, very handsome. Could we get any official word on if and or when this will ever be resolved?

I stopped playing a few months ago because I reached level 30 and thus the f2p areas were over. Didn't want to do deeds to continue. Has that change ? Can I continue playing ?

People of Wildermore - Kindred Impossible?
Hey, so as I finished Wildermore and got access to the Survivors of Wildermore quests, I noticed I'd outlevelled the task board, and can't seem to find any daily quests for the People of Wildermore, so stuck at Ally.
Does anyone know if this is some oversight after HD was launched and the task board is outlevelled, or if one is supposed to hunt down warbands(not sure if these give rep) or if there are any daily chains for the People of Wildermore faction?

I have lived in Bree for many years, and fought on the front line of etten moors. I was fondly looking forward to returning home. However what I was met with was a complete disappointment.. and find my self embarrassed to count my bloodline amongst yourselves.
In almost every settlement I have visited, I have had to clean your dishes, tidy your houses, saddle your horses and run messenger around several people whom are within shouting distance of each other!
I am appalled at your bone-idle laziness, inability to produce heroic and decisive leaders, and your general lack of clean / tidiness.
While I do not mind assisting, mutually with your endeavours I will no longer be your skivvy.

Stuck At " The Road to Dunharrow"
I have been trying to get help with this for almost a week now the GM says they don't help with this sort of thing, I know I got help with something like this a year or so ago in another expansion. Anyway this is the problem I have completed all the rings in Edoras, and I was sure I had completed Book 12 vols. 5 and 6 but what I did doesn't look like the videos I watched of them on Wiki, and I can't move on with the area. Anyone any idea what I missed and how I can fix It.

I have the determination trait line sellected, i go to the trainer yet he doesnt have this skill. I contacted turbine, they told me to report this as a bug.

Unplayable!
I have been a member since Beta. I can no longer play due to lag and crashing since Helm's Deep. This is very disappointing. I have spent days optimizing my computer and trying all the posted fixes, but it just gets worse. I don't understand why this issue has not been addressed.
