Bug?

I have noticed, after any combat, that my weapons stay out at the ready, even though they are also stowed away.

So I will finish combat, the animation where i but my spear/javelin back across my back happens, but i still have my weapon in my hand.

This has been there since U9 and i was wandering if it was intentional or a bug?
