A friend asked me to do a thread about this, so I guess I will.

Free to play came out about September 2011, after Siege of Mirkwood and before Rise of Isengard.
Pros: Ever since free to play, there has been a huge boom in numbers. Many many people came into
the game and filled up the empty community like never before!
~Turbine racked up more money to keep this game going on a good basis (or so they claimed)
~Many more developers came into the game to add more and more amazing stuff to make the game
really fun to play!

Cons: The store is the number one basis of this game now, nearly everything turbine does is based off the
store, both because of money and well because of money.
~Expansions having less content, etc.- Ever since Free to Play, there has been so much less end game contentfrom instances and raids. The raids would come out about 3 months after the expansion (ROI or RoR)
and with RoR it was like 4 months and only 3 instances came out. And another like 5 in like 3 more months or
so.
~Left with so many dailies...Kinda boring to just do dailies for the game..
~About 1 set of armor (or a set of armor from the same instance/area.
~Ettenmoors changed drastically--the good or worse, but when RoR came out, some creeps were able to
1v3 certain classes (that doesn't mean all classes)
~Class changes... Idk about you guys, but they change classes way way too much. I wish exp can just add bonuses to classes and such instead of just changing them.. ie. The warden was changed like 6 times in total.. lol, for the good or the worse..

Idk if I got all the pros or cons on there, but that's my opinion and another friends' of mine.

Enjoy your days in Middle Earth!:)
