The last couple of weeks I've done a bit of Turbine bashing in regards to it's lack of communication with it's customers and the totally deplorable 2 year old beta forum.(That was a hint Turbine)
But I have to give them credit when they do something right. Rohan just seems like an actual place. I cannot believe how good it looks. I was in Cliving today and just looked at the common folk doing their thing. I went to the top of a guard tower and saw guard looking over the rampart.
I was on my warsteed just south of Cliving when I saw 3 orcs looting the bodies of dead Rohirrim. I actually got a little upset and rode them down and it felt good.
I love how a lot of the quest lines are story based and actually require reading to see what they are about. If you just blow through the quests without even reading you are really missing out.
And dang, I love mounted combat. I can't get enough of it, especially when I'm against a orc on a mount.
Yes, Turbine has it's issues, and I'm not debating that at all, but boy, I am loving Rohan.
