Auction House Fees VS Income Tax

Dear TURBINE.

I came home from work yesterday, made myself comfortable in my favorite armchair and thought to myself 'I could do with escaping the reality of working too many hours on a rubbish wage that gets taxed too highly in my opinion anyway making it feel so not worth it most of the time'

So I gets my laptop, powers it up and clicks my favorite taskbar icon. When Spider Solitaire decides it doesn't want to work however, I decide to play LOTRO for a bit.

I run around for a bit, killing stuff, as you do, and BAM - A Sturdy Steel Key makes a welcome entrance into my inventory. I immediately think 'Awesome.' and make my way to the Auction House, to post this great selling item and make myself a decent bit of gold.

I post it for 22G as the lowest price is 23G. I expected to make a tidy sum and walk away with most of that price in my pocket. However, having seen it's just sold, I am confused that I received 1.1G less than the posted price.

Now, Turbine, I kind-of-but-not-really understand the bizzare money-making system of making people purchase the ability to level their guild to the max, now you've brought a new Tier out. That is, I do see how this benefits you, though I don't appreciate being charged with my real, highly taxed income for something so minor that I personally feel we should have access to anyway - at least for Premium players upwards. However, I fail to see the reasoning or benefit for you in charging a percentage of the Auction House posting price which cannot, for the players benefit be limited to a maximum of something smaller than 1G. I posted it for 22G. If I wanted 20G 900s I would have posted it for 20G 900s or a bit more if there was a small fee.

Does this virtual money go anywhere special? Does every member of staff receive a virtual tip for every item sold on the AH or something? (Honestly, if the latter, that would be pretty sad)

(This isn't really as big a deal as I'm dramatizing it to be but really, I think a minor improvement could be made here, as I farm heavily to sell and make gold on the Auction House and would kind of like to reap the 'full' reward for my efforts ;))
