The recent thread regarding the incorrect names of people on the Bounders Statues has been closed, with what i feel is a less than satisfactory answer from Turbines Community Manager. The Community Manager closed the thread without so much as a sorry, and left us with some throwaway comment about how the names where chosen based on which character had donated the most on the successful accounts.
Well thats just no good enough, you dangled a carrot in front of us and many worked very hard to get those tokens enough that we would complete the statue and that there was a chance to be commemorated. While it may all be swell to just say oh 1400 names ... we can't be bothered with that. Perhaps those responsible for the outcome should have thought about that before making false promises and thats what it was. I'm now stuck with a the name that albeit maybe my main but hasn't carried said name since 2011.
I cannot express enough how sad that made me to find out that I was on the statue but with a name nobody but I remembers me by. Issues such as this are prime candidates for what I believed the player council should have been able to mediate bewteen the players and Turbine.
