Virtues ... still counting?

Since I saw that no one is saying anything about these, I wanted to ask your opinion about virtues. Long time ago, I was not taken in an raid because I had my virtues under 10 (that was happening at lvl 65 and the raid was BG). I promised my self that I will always have the virtues maxed from now on. And here we are, some years after. I have virtues maxed on all my alts. And also I have more virtues maxed because some time ago the virtues was changed and I had to grind them again.
- Before DUnland, we used to choose virtues with stats to compensate here and there
- After Dunland, we used to choose virtues with mittigations because from Dunland we had an high leap on the stats (from 650 in Mirk up to 2k)
- After that, at some point, virtues was changed and we took for example tactical mittigations from will, fact who made fidelity for example useless for casters, almost all of tactical dps having tactical mittigations maxed anyway from too high will stat.
- Helm Deep. Well, what we do now? Why we need the virtues anymore? :( We have so high amount of will, agi, vit or might that the little little bonuses from virtues are useless. Resistance was what was left and still ok to equip as virtues (looking as charity, confidence and so on) but with the stupid amounts of vit, now is useless.

I think that virtues was related a lot with the ideea of true or hardcore raiders. Each raider who respected himself and his party had the virtues maxed. Since Turbine dont want the raiders anymore, is obviously that the virtues are not counting for them. Which we can see from the ideea, stupid ideea to raise automatically the virtues up to 14 or 16 (I dont know for sure) when your toon is scaled up to 95 when doing Big Battles. WHY I will ask you? Does the devs have any clue about how much time you had to grind slayer deeds in order to raise your virtues for example? Maybe now we are OP and we are doing the deeds faster, but I can show you deeds where you spended days doing them (Angmar Instances deeds for example) or hours (wolfes and trolls in Enedwaith for example). So why grant them by default?

Offtopic, I still hope that Turbine will cut the dps in half, the stats in half, will make mobs twice as morale and damage so we have an feeling of any challenge. This way the virtues will still have an point in the big plan of Lotro. But since I am wrong and we know that Turbine will NOT do this, I wonder why I spended so many hours, days and weeks doing deeds? Is any hope left to make the virtues what they was before?

I remember, each time when an recruit was asking me in kin chat about the virtues, what to choose, when to do them and so on, I was answer him: Virtues are an fine tunning of your toon. Try to choose the virtues who will make your toon complete. I am afraid that I put those kids to work for nothing ...
