Wildermore quest problem

I have finished all four of the area quests, but can't figure out how to get the survivors quests. Looked on forum and found post that
says gp to the thane, then find his daughter. She will give couple quests to finish this quest line. I tried the thane, he has no quest to
send me to his daughter. Looked where she's supposed to be, there were lots of dead orcs but nothing else. Is this bugged or did I miss
something. Any help will be appreciated.
