I recently received an email requesting feedback from our hosts here turbine. I can only imagine they sent a few out, and I remember this being discussed recently that it was a previous regular habit of theirs.
It was brief, only a few questions with numerical feedback on how often I play, overal satisfaction and would I recommend, do I group play and how often/ what proportion. Plus a ending open space for deeper qualitative feedback. I was able to give my praise on what I enjoyed about the game and my concerns for the future.
I thought some in the community may be pleased to know they are canvassing for opinion from us in this format again, and to check their game account emails for one! For those who wished they'd received one but have not and do not perhaps you would like to UAE this thread to engage constructively.
I myself was reassured a little that they are interested and willing to attempt to listen in any case. I praised the fantastic backlog of game I've been able to enjoy over the past year since starting. I never knew about lotro at launch despite being a fan of the IP and having other middle.earth based PC games, mostly strategy eg. Battle for middle earth. However I also voiced my concern for the class revamps. I'm nervous that we could lose some of the uniqueness of lotro vs other games. I also said I was excited to see what they would do for helms deep but would appreciate some prompt and quality group content along with it. Perhaps a change of scaling whats available at level cap, why not do moria and isenguard to 95 and leave the rest so that it remains fresher.
Anyway just thought.I'd share in case anyone was interested and I felt it showed the company does care what we think or want and *is listening* but obviously that doesn't mean that they can do everything for everyone. I'm an optimist, sue me.
