I have spoken to a GM about this bug and was very disappointing with the feedback. I appreciate the fast response for my ticket, yet I was told that they weren't even trying to look for a fix for this bug, just that it is a "known issue". Many times players know more than the actual GM's when it comes to fixing bugs so I am posting my issue here also, in case any one has the same issue because it is very annoying.
Basically I am no longer able to receive my daily hobbit presents. You may think i'm greedy since we never used to get them. But i was fine not getting silver and was re-assured that it was ONLY the silver present affected. Untill I logged on this morning. I am
unable to click "open silver/gold present" instead there is the "Buy more mithril...." button in it's place. The icon for the gifts are still at the bottom right of my screen, haunting me. And when I hover my curser over it, "Free silver/gold present available" I can not even get my VIP gift, that I waited a week for, and is a privilege for paying a monthly subscription to this game. Meanwhile every one around me is getting free mithril coins, potions, cool gear. While I am just tormented by the "buy more mithril" button. Is this some way to force us to buy mithril coins to stop this bug? or will it remain even if I do buy Mithril coins?
I understand this is a known issue, and it may well be fixed in the future and I appreciate that. I was simply asked to fill a bug form, which I have done and that's all. It would be great to hear if anyone has fixed this issue or if the GM's could say they are actually working on a fix right now, and that it's not going to be left.

EDIT: My silver present randomly became available after like 100 times opening and closing it. This was completely random and the count down to my next present is at 21 hours. So it was not just a matter of waiting until it's available again. There is no telling if it will open tomorrow however.
Gold gift is still not opening.
