Free/paying business model good and bad in LotR

For the free customers I think LotR online have one of the best model. A casual and/or poor player can easely find it attractive, play the game spend a few $, supply the community with more players (instead of having a diying game). Most pay-2-play MMO who turned Free-2-play feels more like the none subscribing player are just playing a demo and must pay the montly fee pretty early or they will just not be able to progress even in mid level game content.

But I really dislike the model we VIP member get. Even if I have paid a 1 year subscription I just don't get what I do get on most others MMO. I find myself having to pay a lots of extra money just to do in LotR what I can do in everquest 2, SotOR or even the &&&&&& WoW.

First character slot, only 5 slot per server for a VIP ? I can't think of any other game giving so few.

The EXP disabler is another thing. In many MMO you get it for either for free or for a very tiny amount of gold(or other in game currency). In LoTR I must spend about 13$ of real money just for 10 shot.

The traveling feels the same. Almost every other gamer offer some kind of free "fast" or "instant" traveling to their paying customers. In LoTR I feel like they make it that slow in order to make us paying for "mithril" coin.

You must spend real $ for shared bank too, I have it for free in almost every paying MMO that I played for the past 10 years.

And I won't even talk about the very few free "nice looking armors"

The free 500 turbine pts a month are just not going to make for it I fear. Even if I paid the whole years in 1 shot I will have my points only every months.
I'm actualy not sure if I will subscribe once my time paid will be over so I'm still not sure about spending more $ for more content.
