So yesterday, my computer crashed, and crashed hard. Lost everything I had, and had to reinstall Windows 7. Once I redownloaded and installed LOTRO, I logged in. All of a sudden, my graphics are way better than I was ever able to get before the crash. (I don't have a video card, so I've been using the Intel chipset that came with my PC, and I couldn't get the graphics high at all.)
While they are still pretty low compared to what the game is capable of achieving with a good graphics card, the improvement is completely noticeable. Did Turbine add some kind of graphics improvement with their latest update, or is this just some weird fluke? I had fiddled with the graphics before and DID have them as high as they would go, so I'm not getting why they are so much better now.
